London Project - Before & after

February 05, 2019

This was such an exciting project to work on. It was a flat in a converted Victorian schoolhouse so we had all these amazing original features and ceiling heights to work with. Our brief was to completely transform the main bathroom, living area and kitchen. These last two were both part of the open plan living space.

For the bathroom in the eaves of the building, we chose some romantic wallpaper to put on the ceiling to highlight the original beams. A strong shade of navy was used on the vanity unit and to refurbish the roll top bath our clients had whilst Victorian style tiles were used for the floor as a nod to the building itself.

The living space need new storage for the TV section. We designed a bespoke solution that streamlined this area and created a beautiful feature wall and introduced a bold colour in the sofa to create a colourful focal point.

The kitchen needed to work better with the living space and needed more storage so that the surfaces could be less cluttered. We designed a simple, sleek solution that mirrored the bespoke storage in the living area to tie the two areas in with each other.
