This was an exciting project we took on in a repurposed school in Brixton, London.
Our clients had a lovely apartment within the building and wanted to completely remodel their main bathroom, living area and kitchen.
The bathroom had some gorgeous architectural features and a beautiful roll top bath but these weren't being used to their full potential. We introduced some statement wallpaper that accented the original wood beams and painted the bath a striking navy that tied in with the new vanity unit we designed. A simple, traditional black and white tile on the floor was used as a nod to the period building.
In the living area, the homeowners wanted to completely streamline the look of the space - both in terms of design and colour. We designed a new unit for the TV wall that created hidden storage with low level drawers and allowed the area above to be decorative, featuring statement wall lights and shelves for display.
A rug and sofa in bold primary colours were used to create some impact and interest in the room
The kitchen was designed in conjunction with the storage so that the finishes mirrored each other, creating a link between the two areas. Seamless carrara quartz was used for the kitchen splashback and worktop to create a luxurious, minimal look.
