Roe River Bookshop in Dundalk hired Dust to design the new, bigger premises they were moving to.
We used paint as a transformative tool in this job.The tiled ceiling was painted black to minimise its impact. The floor was painted a light grey to mimic concrete and softened with a variety of Persian rugs. The existing units from the former shop were painted in eye catching colours with the different areas of the shop defined by colour.
We used chalkboard paint to create a feature around the top of all the walls, above the bookcases, to enable the client to interact with their customers.
