Barneby Gates fabric - Pineapples, Gold on Charcoal
Vanessa Barneby and Alice Gates are the designers behind these fabulous fabrics. Vanessa studied figurative art and trompe l'oeil before becoming Editor of Vogue Living and latterly, the Living Editor at British Vogue. Whilst Alice has had a successful career as a painter and illustrator with her work featuring in numerous publications including Vogue and Tatler and exhibited worldwide.
Their background at the forefront of design means they are not just early adopters of interiors trends but generally leading the pack with their beautiful and unusual designs. Their patterns have been described as 'classic with a twist' which we think perfectly sums them up.
Often considered a symbol of hospitality in the home, Pineapple is available in a vibrant pink/red for a fresh contemporary vibe, a sophisticated gold or a deep charcoal with golden fruits for a moody raj-style room.
